This weekend, the lovely Margaret and Marcos took their vows at the stunning Brasenose College in Oxford. The room was stunning, surrounded by warm oak panels, and paintings of the colleges former alumni. Light dappled through the stain glass windows, and silver vases lined the tables filled with blush pink and white hydrangeas.
Margaret and Marcos chose a three tier buttercream finished cake for their centerpiece, and they were really taken with these anime style kissing toppers they had found on Pinterest, so I recreated a similar style bride and groom topper, for their own cake.
Of course, no dessert table is complete without a delectable selection of baked from scratch treats. The table was adorned with chcolate dipped cake pops finished with bows and peach blush sugar blossoms.
Gourmet vanilla marshmallows on sticks are certainly going to be the next big trend. These fluffy treats are so much better than the shop bought versions. Especially formulated in my kitchen, these were dipped in white chocolate to add an extra delicious layer.
Of course, no table is complete with our swirls of meringue rosettes. These baby's are dangerous, crunchy on the out side and soft and chewy in the middle. You just want to eat more and more.
No table is complete without iced biscuits and cupcakes. These biscuits were created to tie in the them of the wedding, in a floral shape, and topped with a soft blush ruffles sugar flower.
